Curriculum

This highly practical Masters level program in leadership excellence focuses on the development of the strategic leadership skills of those responsible for the overall performance and long-term sustainability of their organizations and aims at accelerating the progression of senior leaders. Building on 35 years’ experience of running one of the world's leading MBA programs, this degree prepares participants for strategic management and leadership roles.

The course is delivered through a flexible blend of virtual classes and face-to-face workshops at our historic Ashridge Estate campus. The program is delivered in two years, with options for a fast-track route within 20 months, depending on employer and employee preference and commitment. The two-year program is divided into six 2.5-day intensive workshops at Ashridge followed by 12 weeks of virtual study.

  • Year 1: Strategy and finance, leading and developing people
  • Year 2: Innovation and leading change, developing collaborative relationships, enterprise, and risk

Ashridge will also provide the option of customized modules for those clients, who wish to develop the management and leadership skills of entire cohorts of employees. This ensures that program content is relevant to the context of your industry and the culture of your organization, with the possibility of in-house teaching at your organization.

Participant feedback

I commenced employment straight from school and have built a very rewarding career. However, I lack any formal postgraduate qualification and feel this could be the differentiator if my career were to take a different avenue moving forward.
