Curriculum

This leadership and management program is designed to increase the skills and boost the effectiveness and performance of mid-level managers in order to prepare them for senior management roles. 

The course is delivered through a flexible blend of virtual classes and face-to-face workshops at our historic Ashridge Estate campus. The program is delivered in three years. Each year is divided into 4 modules, each starting with a 3-day intensive workshop at Ashridge followed by 3 months of virtual study.

  • Year 1: Foundations of business finance, strategy, marketing and sales, emotional intelligence, managing people and developing collaborative relationships
  • Year 2: Strategy, leadership, stakeholder engagement and management, company culture, social intelligence, procurement, negotiation and contracting
  • Year 3: Developing strategy for a 21st-century business; new technologies, innovation and leading change, ethics and governance, project management

Ashridge will also provide the option of customized modules for those clients, who wish to develop the management and leadership skills of entire cohorts of employees. This ensures that program content is relevant to the context of your industry and the culture of your organization, with the possibility of in-house teaching at your organization.

Admissions and fees

More than just academics, our internationally-sourced faculty are practitioners who teach from real-world experience. Our professors have been everything from entrepreneurs to CFOs, consultants, directors, and vice presidents at leading global companies.

Fee: £27,000 

Funding support: Yes, this program is offered exclusively as a level 6 Degree Apprenticeship and matches the necessary government standards and requirements, allowing levy paying companies in England to offset their levy payments when engaging employees in this development program. Under the Degree Apprenticeship scheme, non-levy paying companies are also able to draw at least 90% of the funding towards this program from the government.
