We have created the two year part-time Ashridge Masters in Executive Coaching in response to the emergence of executive coaching as an established and distinct profession within the international field of individual and organizational development. Our aim is to raise the standard of coaching both professionally and ethically. The program draws on theories from complexity science, sociology and psychology to come to a distinct understanding of organizations and hence the role of both coaches and clients.
This degree in Executive Coaching focuses on helping participants to integrate theory, research and skills from existing coaching practice, organization development, and psychotherapy. The program is intended to develop reflective practitioners who are able to critique their own work and continuously develop as coaching professionals.
The program is delivered in five modules and students do not have to commit to the full degree until the end of Module 3. For Module 1 you can choose one of two options: Coaching for Organization Consultants or Team Coaching for Consultants. Module 3 enables you to prepare to become an Ashridge Accredited Coach, a popular certification that has been helping coaches to excel since 2002.
The relationship between coach and client is at the heart of effective coaching and is, therefore, the central vehicle for learning and change. We draw from experience and research in therapy, counseling and relational coaching as well as organization development to bring you the best and latest thinking about coaching effectiveness.
This modular Masters program has various exit points (diploma, certificate or full Masters degree), and some modules can be subscribed to individually.
