About the class

This classwill focus on understanding the key elements for a successful entrepreneur—determining if an idea is a ‘real’ opportunity worth pursuing.  Whether you have already started a business, have an idea about a business or are just curious about entrepreneurship this presentation will be of interest to you.

 The objectives:

  • Provide an understanding of why and how start-ups are ‘started’
  • Learn tools to identify opportunities
  • Demonstrate what it takes to be a successful start-up

In this interactive session Professor Schiebe will give you practical examples of why some products succeed and others fail, how opportunities are identified, and what are the key elements in building value—all within the experience of a Hult classroom.
