Study in the Heart of the City
An exciting new partnership
Hult is partnering with Fundação Dom
Cabral (FDC) to offer students the chance
to rotate to São Paulo, Brazil for Module D
of their studies. FDC is one of the leading
business schools in Brazil and will provide
teaching facilities and visa sponsorships,
and its distinguished faculty will teach a
specially designed elective on Brazilian and
Latin American commerce and economics.
Students will also have the chance to learn
the local lingo, as beginner Portuguese
classes will be offered to all rotating students.
Prime downtown location
Hult’s rotation center is located at FDC’s
downtown São Paulo campus, on the
Avenida Doutor Cardoso de Melo in the
Vila Olímpia district. This is FDC’s executive
education campus, educating managers from
around the globe. (FDC’s primary campus
is located outside Belo Horizonte, Brazil’s
third-largest city, some 600 km from São
Paulo.) Vila Olímpia is a modern, upper-class
neighborhood and is home to the regional
HQs of several multinationals, including
Google. The area is also well known for its
nightlife.
Discover the vibrancy of São Paulo
A range of extra-curricular activities will
be organized to help students discover all
that Brazilian culture has to offer. Events
will include visits to local and regional
multinational companies, museum tours,
including the Museum of Modern Art of São
Paulo, shopping excursions on the Rua Oscar
Freire and Rua 25 de Março, and outings
to São Paulo’s and the Vila Olímpia’s many
fantastic restaurants and nightspots.
Supportive environment
Hult will provide a range of Student Support
Services at the Rotation Center, due to
size restrictions these will, however, not be
as broad as those offered at Hult’s home
campuses. During students’ first few days
in São Paulo, FDC’s faculty will provide an
orientation session on life in Brazil to help
students negotiate daily life and make the
most out of their time in this dynamic city.
