Rolando is the Head of New Product Industrialization and Operations Strategy at TE Connectivity (TE). He is responsible for leading, developing and implementing strategies to increase TE competitiveness and capabilities in the region. Rolando brings a wide range of knowledge and experience having worked in operations in electronics, heavy equipment, rail, and marine industries. Born in Colombia, Rolando studied Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Rutgers University, Nuclear Ships Operations at the US Navy Nuclear Power School, and has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. He started his career by working in nuclear submarines. Rolando has worked designing diesel-electric locomotives and tractor & construction equipment. He worked for a number of years with Volvo Group in Asia leading its supply chain for heavy machinery based out of Korea and China. Rolando has extensive international experience having worked in Europe, North & South America, and currently is Asia.
