Why Dubai

Hult Alumni Working in the Region

There are many advantages to studying in Dubai, including a tax-free salary upon graduation, sunny climate, and the international diversity.

Given the great opportunities for employment in this developing region, it is not surprising that many graduates choose to stay in the region after graduation. Not only can they take advantage of a first-class standard of living, they can also do it with relative ease because getting a work permit is quite straightforward in Dubai. Your employer will process a working visa once you have agreed on your contract terms. Typically, working visas are for three years, although they will be cancelled once you finish working with your sponsor company.

Here, we are proud to showcase many of our international alumni who graduated in Dubai and chose to stay in the region to build their careers:

“I wanted to come to Dubai to study, as ultimately I want to work here. The faculty was fantastic and very international. I thought I understood diversity, but in this context I understood it more because there's a level of intimacy you have to develop with your colleagues. All the students become close. There's nowhere else you could experience that, I don't think. There is no place like Dubai. As a culture and art enthusiast, I initially was drawn to Dubai because I wanted to see how local artists were expressing themselves and what possibilities there were to help with this development. Working in Project Management for a marketing events agency in Dubai has been an exciting roller-coaster. Truly, Dubai is unique in its effectiveness and prioritization of interactive marketing. In such a diverse market, this kind of interaction comes with a lot of learning. Dubai is great in that so many people who come here are overachievers, and there's lots of room for career advancement. A great combination! ”

“Dubai offers a multicultural experience that is easy to embrace and settle into. You'll find people from all corners of the world in Dubai. The people are generally very courteous which helps to break stereotypes. Living in Dubai has afforded me the opportunity to mingle with people from different countries at work and other social circles and so far, it's been a thrill. Dubai is good for business. It offers very good opportunities for people looking to start a new venture or to get jobs with some of the world's leading corporations. Many of the companies in Dubai operate to global standards and offer opportunities comparable to what is obtainable in Europe or the United States. ”
