Company Visits

Hult provides a practical business education that clearly demonstrates the gap between classroom theories and market realities. Regular visits to major global companies allow our students to see first-hand how international business works.

Hult Dubai hosts many company field trips that give students the opportunity to benefit from group mentoring with experts, develop skills through real-life challenges, and meet key industry players. Through unique field trips to leading UAE-based organizations, students have the opportunity to explore industry operations and brand values with senior executives. Each field trip includes a site visit, a presentation from the organization, and a moderated panel discussion. After each visit, students are given a short questionnaire which helps to highlight what they have learned from their trip. Recent visits include:


Dubai Aluminium Company Limited

Dubai Aluminium Company Limited (Dubal) owns and operates one of the world's largest aluminum smelters. Hult's field trip to Dubal was a part of the Brand Management program. 30 students were invited to meet Fahima Badri, Head of Corporate Communications. Students discussed the company's rebranding issues that the department faced during the implementation of their new marketing campaign.


Emirates Airline

The Emirates Group engages in the commercial air transportation of passengers and cargo. The company operates a fleet of approximately 150 aircraft. It has operations in East Asia, Australasia, Europe, West Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Gulf, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. A field visit was arranged at the Emirates Airlines facility during Hult's International Marketing course. 30 students attended the presentation given by Mike Simons, Head of Marketing. The presentation focused on Emirate's international marketing strategy. Students also had the opportunity to meet Brendan Noonan, Emirate's SVP of Learning & Development.


Al Ghurair Foods

Al Ghurair is a diversified industrial group spanning more than 50 countries globally with core areas of expertise in Foods, Commodities, Construction, and Properties, with additional areas of focus in Energy, Printing, Retail, and Education. Hult students had the opportunity to visit the region's largest pasta manufacturing facility, Al Bustan, and watch the manufacturing process for the company's noodles and pasta brands. The operations tour was followed by a board meeting presentation and open Q&A session with the Head of HR, Meiraj Hussain, and other members of senior management.


Cisco Systems

Cisco Systems, Inc. manufactures and sells networking and communications products worldwide. Its products and services enable customers to build their network infrastructures and provide tools that allow them to communicate with stakeholders, including customers, business partners, suppliers, and employees. Students were shown around the company's operations, where they saw the latest technologies and equipment in the Cisco Systems range. Fahad Alamoudi, Regional Senior Marketing Manager at Cisco Systems, wrapped up the tour with a presentation focused on Cisco's regional sales and marketing strategies.
