"I was co-founder and president of the International Business Development Club. I was also president of the Hult Global Case Challenge Committee. We organised the regional finals attracting around 200 students from about 20 countries. It sharpened my leadership skills and improved my ability to work in a multicultural team, having to interact with people from various cultures who see things differently and building common ground so I can achieve the goals of the club without ruffling feathers. It improved my leadership skills and my ability to work in a multicultural team. Working in a mono-cultural team now looks very boring!"

Student Clubs

Hult Consulting Club

Dubai HULT Consulting Club (Dubai) was founded for students who are keen in the area of management consulting. A single driving focus was established within the club to help its' members gain a competitive advantage when entering the consulting job market. The club activities include seminars with guest speakers who are industry experts and can provide key insights into consulting industry, as well mock case interviews so as to develop industry specific interview skill sets. Also, in partnership with IXL center, club members have also been provided access to online tutorials for management consulting training. In 2012 Q1, HCC Dubai has also bagged a real-time project to work on an industry problem with a consulting firm in Dubai.

Hult International Business Development Club (Hult IBD)

The Hult International Business Development Club was formed to allow for opportunities to engage in understanding international business development practices and standards. The club aims to network and bring in key guest speakers who have considerable experience and expertise in different segments of business development. We as Hult IBD aim to allow for our members to realise the key benefits and synergies while engaging with key speakers. Our priority will be to also take on projects that will help us understand the concepts and scopes business development can provide in business environments, locally or internationally. We hope our efforts as a club will bring lasting and sustaining effects for key network partners and the general business community.

Hult Entrepreneurship Club

Hult Entrepreneurship Club was founded to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in the School and help students cultivate and develop their own ideas. The club focus is on developing entrepreneurial skills in students and providing them with an infrastructure to flourish and grow their ideas. We have had series of executive speaker sessions to introduce entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrate real world cases of entrepreneurship. On the other hand these students (Potential future business leaders) got connected and networked with number of major players of the world of business.

The Hult Dubai Finance Club

The Hult Dubai Finance Club seeks to advance the reputation of Hult as a prominent finance institution through the commitment, initiative and enterprise of Hult Dubai Finance Club members. Promoting a comprehensive understanding of the financial world in Dubai as well as the multinational trends in the global financial world, the Hult Dubai Finance Club aims to further students' exposure and understanding in investment banking, venture capital/private equity, hedge funds, corporate finance, commercial banking, and retail banking though our research-based papers, market updates, newsletter etc. The Club engaged with Bloomberg and facilitated tests for MIB students. They also have arranged competition on trading and workshops on Islamic finance.
