Simon is a Facilitator, Organisational Development Consultant and Member of Faculty who represents Ashridge in the DACH region based out of our Berlin office. A linguist and literature student by background, he has spent most of his career working in learning and development and change consultancy businesses (including the corporate learning wing of The Chartered Institute of Marketing), supporting clients in transforming their organisations and developing learning cultures. Typical areas of focus include leadership development and culture change in organisations, especially in the context of achieving greater organisational agility, customer orientation, collaboration, team effectiveness and playfulness. Perhaps linked to his original studies Simon is particularly interested in the role organisational language, metaphor, story and narratives play in shaping, perpetuating, or changing team dynamics and organisational cultures.
He has worked with clients across a variety of sectors including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing and government. Clients have included organisations such as Barclays, Siemens, Shell, British Council, VW, Telefónica, Regina Maria Healthcare, and the NHS amongst others. Simon is a CIPD qualified L&D practitioner and holds a Masters in Organisational Change.
