Elisabetta Ghisini is a Professor of Management Communications and a marketing communications consultant with over 20 years of experience worldwide. As the founder of the boutique consulting firm Verba, she helps foreign companies shape their brand and reputation in the US market, focusing on messaging, positioning, and content strategy for high tech companies. Elisabetta teaches Toolbox courses on Managerial Skills and Individual Skills, as well as Management Communications.
Previously, Elisabetta taught Management Communication courses at the University of San Francisco, Graduate School of Management, where she also designed a new Inter-Cultural Component for international students. Her teaching experience includes eight years as an Instructor at Stanford University, Graduate School of Business, where she led workshops on Public Speaking, Media Training, and Interviewing Skills; she also coached MBA student teams pitching business plans to Venture Capitalists. She also taught courses on Interviewing Skills and Cross-Cultural Communications to adult professionals at the Continuing Studies Program, Stanford University. In her corporate career, Elisabetta served as CMO of M31 USA, an Italian venture incubator in Silicon Valley. Previously she was Director of the Technology Practice of Burson-Marsteller, and Manager of the Communications Department at McKinsey & Co. (Milan and San Francisco offices).
Elisabetta is a Board Member and former Executive Director of the Business Association Italy America, and served on the Board of the International Association of Business Communicators, SF Chapter.
