    Hunter Hastings

    Professor of Marketing,

    MA, Cambridge University

    Hunter Hastings has spent his career in marketing. He was grounded as a brand manager at Procter and Gamble in consumer packaged goods. He was Vice President of Brand Management at SBC, the #3 brewer in the US (now part of SAB-Miller) with category leading brands such as Stroh’s, Old Milwaukee and Schlitz Malt Liquor. He was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at JBS, the Brazil-based global fresh food company and global brandowner of the Swift brand.  In business services, he served as CEO of  Emmperative, the P&G-funded marketing software venture, and Chairman of the EMM Group. He also founded and led the strategy consulting group at Ryan Partnership.  Hunter’s clients have included Kimberly-Clark, Kraft, Clorox, Philip Morris International, MillerCoors, Pepsico, and Brown Forman, among many others.  He developed and taught the Marketing and Brand Building course at the Center For Marketing Excellence, the professional training arm of the Association of National Advertisers, and has authored 3 books on marketing process and brand management.  He has served on the boards of Emmperative and Pete’s Brewing Company.  He holds bachelors and masters degrees in Economics from Cambridge University.
