Putting your skills to the test: The Hult Impact Challenge
The key concepts of business can certainly be introduced by a teacher, case study, or textbook. But they cannot be truly mastered until they are put into practice. At Hult, we challenge you to apply the knowledge you've learned and to practice the skills you've acquired by participating in the Hult Impact Challenge during your third and fourth years.
The Hult Impact Challenge is a team-based project in which you will present your work to a panel of external judges through an elimination-based competition. For each track, one team will be crowned the global winner. The Hult Impact Challenges are “capstone” courses of the degree program because students have to utilize the skills and knowledge they have learned to make it to the final round of competition.
These projects are designed to hone your core business skills, team skills, and entrepreneurial skills. They are by nature hugely challenging and complex, yet at the same time inspirational. By participating, you will gain confidence at your ability to deliver a major project of high quality on a strict deadline. The goal of the Hult Impact Challenge is simple to explain, yet complex to achieve: to develop the most game changing business idea imaginable, and to make it happen. Beyond that, there are few rules.
