Eight-nine companies visited the Hult San Francisco for Connect@Hult, a career open house, on April 24 offering students the chance to discover new companies, industries, and trends, and make valuable connections with professionals from the Bay Area and beyond. The day-long event transformed the campus into an all-out conference, taking students out of the classroom and putting them in full career mode.
Connect@Hult kicked off this spring at all five Hult campuses, giving students exclusive exposure to major corporations, start-ups, and nonprofits. San Francisco hosted employees from Google, Facebook, Coca-Cola, Accenture, Bain, IDEO, Merrill Lynch, IBM, Starbucks, and many more, courtesy of the school's Corporate Relations team, which works to connect Hult students with companies.
The 526 Hult San Francisco students in attendance sat in on company presentations, as well as intimate roundtable sessions where they could engage in discussions with representatives of the companies of their choice - and learn about businesses they'd never heard of.
Students walked away with knowledge of new companies, interest in new industries, and even new contacts, in some cases. This inaugural sessions proved to be a great start to a new tradition at Hult.
