Make the network work for you
Students come to San Francisco to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the high-tech capital of the U.S. and global entrepreneurial hub. Here you’ll meet key start-up players at on-campus speaker events with founders, and at networking gatherings throughout the city. We also host speakers from some of the best-known names in business, recent companies on campus include Starbucks, Yahoo, Merrill Lynch, and The North Face. Our campus is renowned for it’s high energy levels and positive outlook. Read a student’s perspective, and watch this student-made video to get an inside look at life on campus.

Join the club
Clubs are the ideal way to connect with classmates from different programs and backgrounds. They also make a great addition to your resume. Get involved in campus activities by joining one of the many social and professional clubs on offer. You can also work with Student Services to create a new club, tailored to your specific area of interest. From volunteering at conferences, and organizing events, to working on mini case challenges with local businesses – our San Francisco clubs are very active. Take a look at our student-run publication, 1355, for a snapshot of the latest happenings on campus.
Lead change on campus
Represent your class by running for the Hult Student Association. Elected by fellow students, these representatives play a critical role in the education experience at Hult. They advocate on behalf of other student’s specific issues, as well as the wider community. This is a group that has the power to influence school-wide decisions and call for change on campus. It’s also a lot of fun.
Be social and live well
Outside of the classroom, social activities give you a break from your studies and a chance to meet and mingle with your classmates from around the world. Your campus events calendar will be filled with cultural exhibitions, holiday get-togethers, trips to top local attractions, and volunteer opportunities. Large-scale all-campus events like the Hult’s Got Talent show and annual boat cruise on the San Francisco Bay will be some of your best memories. To help you stay healthy and happy during your busy year, you’ll also have access to ongoing Health and Wellness resources and events.
Get to know the Bay Area and beyond
Studying in San Francisco gives you a chance to discover Northern California’s beautiful coast, mountains, parks, and getaways. Drive a few hours in any direction from the city, and you’ll be able to ski the resorts surrounding Lake Tahoe, sip wine in the vineyards of Napa Valley, explore Yosemite National Park, or surf and stroll in Santa Cruz. Our Student Services team organizes Hult student group trips to many of these places and more throughout the year.
The Hult Prize
All our students are encouraged to compete in the Hult Prize, the world’s largest student entrepreneurship competition and movement for social good. Founded by a Hult alumni, funded by the Hult family, and in partnership with former U.S. president Bill Clinton, teams of students from all over world compete to win USD1 million of investment in their idea that will change the world for the better. It’s a big deal. Find out more about the Hult Prize.
