Learn from world leaders
Just like Dubai itself, our campus is a meeting place for business leaders from across the globe. In the last year we have welcomed executives from L’Oreal, Adidas, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, PepsiCo, Arla, Emerson, Henkel, and Honeywell, as well as many local experts. The Hult Prize regionals were held on campus this year, and we were honored to have as our guest and judge, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Cultural Development, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak.
Some of the world’s most experienced and knowledgeable professionals provide our students with unforgettable insights into public and professional life. Speakers on our Dubai campus this year include Extreme Entrepreneur, Peter Sage, U.S. Ambassador to the UAE, Michael Corbin, and Public Speaker Champion, Simon Bucknal. A recent highlight was a speech by Kiran Shaw, Managing Director of Biotech, who spoke of her journey from a determined 25-year old entrepreneur working in her garage to India’s most successful self-made woman, as part of our Visionary Speaker Series.
Campus of collaboration
Hult Dubai fosters the same attitude as the city we’re a part of, “together we can achieve great things”. Our campus is a place of daily collaboration, where strong partnerships and lasting friendships are formed. For example, this year, four of our students won the KPMG Ace the Case challenge and flew to Brazil to compete in KPMG’s International Case Competition.
Join the club
Clubs are a great way to pursue your interests, both personal and professional, and get to know like-minded classmates outside the classroom. The business-focused clubs are very active and organize speakers and events specific to their area of interest. Get an inside look at life on our Dubai campus with this blog run by one of our students.
Dubai is known for it’s pursuit of leisure and luxury, and our campus is no exception. With a night at the races and picnic at the polo, these are just some of the organized trips you can enjoy. Get to experience the culture and cuisine of your classmates in our regular “Go Global” nights that celebrate the internationalism of our students.
Classes for beginners in Arabic are run on campus so you can complete a basic level one course in this incredible useful “lingua-franca” of the region. Arabic is a practical tool for living in the region, and an impressive addition to your resume.
The Hult Prize
All our students are encouraged to compete in the Hult Prize, the world’s largest student entrepreneurship competition and movement for social good. Founded by a Hult alumni, funded by the Hult family, and in partnership with former U.S. president Bill Clinton, teams of students from all over world compete to win USD1 million of investment in their idea that will change the world for the better. It’s a big deal. Find out more about the Hult Prize.
