The Heroic City Welcomes You
Colombia’s beautiful port city and beach resort is home to magnificent beaches, fascinating colonial architecture, and culinary delicious fresh seafood and tropical fruit—something to tempt every Hult alumni member. The Colombian Alumni Chapter is proud to welcome alumni from around the world to one of their country’s safest and most beautiful cities.

An Exciting Schedule
At the summit you can expect an exciting schedule of Hult-related events, plus plenty of time to discover Cartagena’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, bathe in the nearby Volcán de Totumo mud bath, or simply stroll through the Old Town soaking up the history of the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Site colonial fortresses and port. The Colombian Chapter has also organized plenty of activities to help you feel right at home in Cartagena.

The Gateway to the Americas
Thanks to its strategic location and wide, safe bay, the port city of Cartagena was a major point of entry for the Spanish and other colonial powers. The city remains well-connected to this day. The Rafael Nuñez International Airport can be reached by plane from Madrid in Spain, Panama City, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. Low-cost U.S. carrier JetBlue Airways has also recently launched a direct flight from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Cartagena, making the city more even more accessible than ever before.
