    Katherine Stebbins-McCaffrey

    Katherine Stebbins McCaffrey has nine years of experience in marketing and production for trade, academic, and university publications. She earned her masters from Columbia University and her Ph.D. from Boston University, and her scholarship focuses on the design, marketing, distribution, advertising, sales, purchase, and use of Enlightenment-influenced goods during the eighteenth-century consumer revolution. Most recently, she has taught courses on writing and research; consumer culture; cross-cultural contact;
    and travel and tourism at Harvard University and Boston University. In addition to holding the Batten Fellowship at the Robert H. Smith International Center for Jefferson Studies and the Kate B. and Hall J. Peterson Fellowship at the American Antiquarian Society, she received the 2010 Alan Heimert Teaching Prize from the Committee on Degrees in History and Literature at Harvard University.
