Hult degree structure
Hult’s undergraduate program has seven essential components: Business Fundamentals, Communication Skills, Liberal Arts, Global Knowledge, Concentration, Open Electives, and Action Projects:
Business Fundamentals These core courses provide students with a solid foundation in the functional areas of business and today's global business environment: Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Economics, Organizational Behavior, Business Ethics, Leadership, and Strategy.
Communication Skills Hult trains students in the key communication skills needed to succeed in any profession: writing, speaking, researching, working in global teams, and the powers of persuasion.
Liberal Arts These core courses introduce students to a range of academic disciplines and ways of studying the world. They aim to build a foundation of broad knowledge and understanding expected of all well educated people, in areas such as history and society, the arts and humanities, science and technology, and ethics and philosophy
Global Knowledge Deepening their understanding of the core areas of the liberal arts, courses in Year Three and Year Four require students to choose a specialization in a region of the world, a foreign language, an advanced liberal arts category, and a topic relevant to today’s global politics.
Concentration After building a solid foundation in Business Fundamentals, students choose an advanced track of 6 courses in a concentration, which allows them to develop in-depth expertise in a single area. Hult offers concentrations in management, marketing, finance, general business, and social entrepreneurship.
Open Electives Hult offers all students the chance to take 5 courses (15 credits) in any subject they choose. These open electives give students the flexibility and freedom to develop a second area of expertise, to build additional skills they need, or simply to explore a topic they are passionate about.
